Colonic Irrigation is a therapy for
colon cleansing which works by removing all putrefying matter
from the colon including mucoid plague that has coated the
intestinal walls.
Colonic Irrigation
Can Be Performed In 2 Ways:
(1) By administering a rectal enema.
(2) By colon hydrotherapy.
Steps To Perform A Rectal
Enema:
(1) Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of
sodium bicarbonate to 2 to 3 quarts of relatively warm
water.
(2) Fill this solution into an enema
bag.
(3) Place the enema bag about 3 feet above
the body by hanging it along the wall or toilet door.
(4) Lie yourself in a bath tub filled with
warm water but with the rectum elevated. You could also lie in
a bed with a plastic sheet underneath you.
(5) Lubricate the inside of the rectum with
petroleum jelly.
(6) Insert the rectal tip slowly making sure
that you do not experience any pain or discomfort. Stop
immediately if you should feel any pain and do not push in any
further.
(7) Once you feel increasing pressure from
the first lot of solution in your intestines expel it.
(8) Repeat Step (7) and when pressure is
felt again, stop the water inflow and lying in a different
position such as to your right. This is for the purpose of
getting the solution into the ascending colon.
(9) Repeat the entire procedure until all of
the solution has been used up.
The purpose of adding sodium bicarbonate
(baking soda) is to neutralize an over-acidic bowel. Salt helps
prevent the loss of minerals from the body. As a cautionary
note, those with high blood pressure should not add salt and
baking powder to the enema solution.
Coffee
Enema
Many people today are using coffee enema for
the stimulation and detoxification of the liver.
Steps to prepare a coffee
enema:
(1) Boil 2 tablespoons of ground coffee with
a quart of water for 3 minutes.
(2) Allow it to simmer for 15 minutes and
strain the solution.
(3) The coffee enema is used as an enema for
retention within the colon. Hold it inside your colon for 10 to
20 minutes before expulsion.
(4) Do not use coffee enema if you are
allergic to it.
Colon
Hydrotherapy
Colon hydrotherapy is usually done in a
clinic specializing in such procedures. The colon hydrotherapy
process involves the client lying on a bed-like table, facing
upwards. Warm water is slowly infused into the colon via the
rectum with the aid of a disposable speculum that is attached
to a professional equipment manufactured solely for colon
hydrotherapy.
The warm water entering the colon causes
peristalsis, which are contractions of the involuntary muscles
in the intestinal walls.
As a result, both feces and water are
expelled through a clear drainage hose which is connected
directly to the colon hydrotherapy machine. Being a closed
system, there is no foul odour
whatsoever.
It is important to note that only certified,
trained and experienced colon hydrotherapists be engaged since
the correct operation of the colon hydrotherapy equipment is
crucial.
Colon hydrotherapy has the ability to
perform colon
cleansing of the entire length of the
colon whereas rectal enema can only provide colon cleanse up
to the descending and sigmoid colon.
People having certain conditions of the
colon such as ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, crohn's
disease and those with intestinal tumors and cancers should not
have colon hydrotherapy performed on them as it may cause
serious medical complications.
